Dr. Fred Suess has extensive long-term experience in cosmetic surgery and has practiced plastic surgery in San Francisco and the Bay Area for many years. He is on the staff at California Pacific Medical Center and Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Suess also maintains a fully certified operating suite in his office that is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.
During his college years Dr. Suess studied Architecture and during Medical School he attended Sculpture classes at the Brooklyn Museum Art School. Dr. Suess has traveled to third world countries to perform surgery on Medical Missions.
Dr. Suess is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his plastic surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Plastic Surgery, the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (cosmetic) Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, and the San Francisco Medical Society.
Dr. Suess has presented plastic surgery papers both at national and international meetings. He has also appeared on local as well as national radio and television programs discussing various aspects of plastic surgery.
Dr. Suess is an active skier and treasures his days on the slopes with his daughter.
